CHILDREN COLLIDE PRAY FOR SUNSHINE!
NEW SINGLE, VIDEO + EXTRA ‘MONUMENT TOUR’ DATES ADDED!

Praying For Sunshine is the third brilliant single, lifted from Children Collide’s album Monument, released today to radio and available digitally. Alongside the single is another clever video clip from the band, and several extra tour dates added to satisfy demand.

Children Collide certainly know how to make an intriguing video clip, their Loveless clip from Animal Kingdom director David Michôd was re-created by Triple J’s The Doctor and garnered a lot of attention including a J Award nomination. Most recent single Cherries video clip was an eye popping visual piece compiled using fan-shot photos captured on the Sword To A Gunfight tour and submitted online.

Now we have Praying For Sunshine directed by Leo Baker, a visual artist, most well-known for his conceptualisation work and direction of live action film and animation on international feature films such as ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’, ‘The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian’, ‘Get Smart’, ‘Charlotte’s Web’ and ‘Superman Returns’. In 2010 Leo completed animating and editing the film ‘The Lost Thing’ which won many international awards, including the Academy Award for best animated short film…not too shabby.

The boys are also thrilled to announce some extra shows on August’s national Monument Tour due to popular demand. With 2nd shows set for Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney & Brisbane, fans can catch the band presenting their fiery live show, performing tunes from Monument alongside older favourites. With excellent supports Dune Rats and Bad Dreems in tow, all dates on the Monument Tour are going to be electrifying. Tickets to all shows are on sale now and selling quick.
